designed for and recommended by the NYS Comptroller’s Office, they have been serving NYS for over 140 years.
Thurman has issued the following payments to support Williamson Law as follows:
January 10, 2017 - $998 for the annual contract for software support, -$385 for Town Clerk plus support
March 15, 2017 - $920.55 for 10.83 hours of training for the new bookkeeper and Supervisor.
April 12, 2017 - $935 for Payroll Support Contract,
- $63.75 for remote training for payroll
So, to date they have spent a total of $3,302.30 plus Cynthia Hyde has had the Supervisor and his staff person from Warrensburg come to help them understand how to use the accounting software to no avail. Now the Board has passed a resolution to spend $4,995 on an old accounting software that does not meet the needs of the Town, was not budgeted for and is more complicated and much less accurate to use. The Enhanced software being less accurate allows the bookkeeper or supervisor to continue to work without closing out each month prior to starting a new one. How does this work into the fiscal responsibility and accountability of Town officers?
